Little Bit About Me

My photo
First and foremost, I am a Christian woman: I love Jesus! In this blog you will find stories of trying to conceive with PCOS, MTHFR, Poor egg quality, a unicornuate uteterus, and too many babies in heaven. It is a good thing God is the ultimate healer! Here you will find praise! and you may also find venting (I'm not perfect...) and you will find other stories of my crazy life. All the while through this journey I am holding on to scripture & hoping to one day be a mother here on Earth (waiting on God & His perfect timing...why am I so impatient?) But in the meantime, here you will find me: Jessica, loving wife, hopeful heart of a mother, and faithful friend.

CAUTION

All writing in this blog is unedited and 100% from what I am feeling at the time. By continuing to read it means that you will take my vents with a grain of salt. You will choose to not take offense. And most of all, if you know me in real life you will either choose to stop reading or keep the knowledge of this blog quiet, and privately allow me to know you are reading. I only share this information with close friends. I do not share this with facebook for a purpose: it is meant to be semi-private. Not "public" knowledge in the sense of the majority of those in real life knowing about it. If you can accept all that has been stated, sit back, grab a box of tissues, and be prepared to endure the rocky road of trying to conceive while trying to get out of the shadows of infertility.

Update: Weight and Vacation Dreams

Weight is at an increase/standstill with a lovely side  of unexplained constipation.  Miserable and mad at myself for gaining. 199 folks.

This week I changed things up and I goal is to not count calories from walking at work but I also increased my calories to lose 1 lb a week instead of 1.5 lbs. I am trying to do a biggest loser dvd every other day. And focus on water and eat more fiber....along with taking miralax the past 2 days. Have I mentioned I am miserable?

On another note. I think the Disney planning for 2016 has officially begun over in our household my family probably thinks I am crazy. I have a spreadsheet with prices started, a pinterest board for it, and some pretty cool ideas forming if you ask me!

I kind of want to go all out for the Disney stay just because if we pay for the meal plan that won't be an added cost once we are down there. Stay at a Disney resort. Enjoy the park an hour early! Have dinner with characters all around.

Then there is Harry Potter land. Eeek geek getting excited over here. And also I have decided as long as we prevent pregnancy so I won't be pregnant then a baby before would be okay because they have awesome parent swaps that you can do at both theme parks. And then 2 other people get to ride with the person who missed out!

I cannot wait for anyone in the family to get excited with me. :-) Before getting excited for the trip though I think they will need to enjoy the excitement of my sister graduating from MSU and the likelihood of her wedding in 2015 (which is why we moved the trip to 2016).

Random post I know but here are a few of my ideas. . .

○ By this Christmas have the Disney resort stay set up with a Travel Agent so we can make payments, and present it to the family. Pending our financial situation I wouldn't mind being able to pay for the entire portion of Disney. If I do that we will probably skip the family suites and just do 3 double queen rooms. My mom is anxious about having the money and because she watches Matthew for free I would love to bless her

○ I want to get colored shirts that match each day so we can find each other in the crowd more easily. If they don't go for it Matthew James and I will be at least matching. I think Disney and Universal are so busy you could easily lose sight of your family in the crowd (especially younger children).

○ Have an itinerary so we know when things are and when our fast pass appointments are. My mom laughed and said she was going to need alcohol, but if we ate paying that much for Disney I want to get the best bang for our buck.

That's all for now. I have an exam today and a paper due for clinical. Time to get busy!
