Little Bit About Me

My photo
First and foremost, I am a Christian woman: I love Jesus! In this blog you will find stories of trying to conceive with PCOS, MTHFR, Poor egg quality, a unicornuate uteterus, and too many babies in heaven. It is a good thing God is the ultimate healer! Here you will find praise! and you may also find venting (I'm not perfect...) and you will find other stories of my crazy life. All the while through this journey I am holding on to scripture & hoping to one day be a mother here on Earth (waiting on God & His perfect timing...why am I so impatient?) But in the meantime, here you will find me: Jessica, loving wife, hopeful heart of a mother, and faithful friend.

All writing in this blog is unedited and 100% from what I am feeling at the time. By continuing to read it means that you will take my vents with a grain of salt. You will choose to not take offense. And most of all, if you know me in real life you will either choose to stop reading or keep the knowledge of this blog quiet, and privately allow me to know you are reading. I only share this information with close friends. I do not share this with facebook for a purpose: it is meant to be semi-private. Not "public" knowledge in the sense of the majority of those in real life knowing about it. If you can accept all that has been stated, sit back, grab a box of tissues, and be prepared to endure the rocky road of trying to conceive while trying to get out of the shadows of infertility.

Never Before...

Have I experienced an evap with these tests, or had one period. And then I did with one a month or so ago with FRER and now this...not so sure what to think. Planning on testing again, probably Wednesday morning.

Not going to lie we would be excited, but finances at the moment are a little shaky due to me basically not working the first 4 months of Matthew's life. But we would survive :-)

Not sure I have updated you guys, but I got a days position at work and am SO thankful for being able to work again!

Matthew is still sick, we are continuing with albuterol, and I started allergy meds for him because I think it could be contributing to it. Both James and I have allergies so...he is bound to have allergies as well.

Anyways. The first photo is unedited, and the second is darkened a bit...what do you think....(I plan on testing Wednesday morning, because if pg it should be darker by then! If I can wait that long ;-) LOL)

  1. I see a faint line. What DPO are you (or are you even keeping track?). Could you retest with a FRER? Maybe this is just really early? I'm DYING to know!

Also... what brand is this test? Just be careful if it is the Amazon cheapie (Wondofo). I got a bad batch right after my son was born and got false positives. They were SUPER light positives and never got darker, so I was super confused. I finally googled the lot # and found out other people were getting false + too. Grrr.... It made me so annoyed. I can't tell from the picture but I'm not sure that this is Wondofo... So that probably doesn't even matter :)

At any rate... definitely retest! This would be so exciting! Keep us posted.

P.S. Congrats on a day job. I was a nurse before I started staying at home and the night shift to day shift transition was amazing...

    1. I haven't even started my period yet so definitely not keeping track. I have just randomly been taking tests to see if I am pregnant because I cannot go by usual telltale signs...(tired, hungry, late period, etc).

The test is the 88c ones from walmart. I have used them since they came out and never had an evap, ever. But I have on the frer ones. so we shall see, not sure exactly. Hoping to wait until Wednesday to test. Just going to make sure I take my vitamins and baby aspirin tonight...

I see a line too and I've never had an evap on those .88 tests.
    Praying for you <3
