Little Bit About Me

My photo
First and foremost, I am a Christian woman: I love Jesus! In this blog you will find stories of trying to conceive with PCOS, MTHFR, Poor egg quality, a unicornuate uteterus, and too many babies in heaven. It is a good thing God is the ultimate healer! Here you will find praise! and you may also find venting (I'm not perfect...) and you will find other stories of my crazy life. All the while through this journey I am holding on to scripture & hoping to one day be a mother here on Earth (waiting on God & His perfect timing...why am I so impatient?) But in the meantime, here you will find me: Jessica, loving wife, hopeful heart of a mother, and faithful friend.

CAUTION

All writing in this blog is unedited and 100% from what I am feeling at the time. By continuing to read it means that you will take my vents with a grain of salt. You will choose to not take offense. And most of all, if you know me in real life you will either choose to stop reading or keep the knowledge of this blog quiet, and privately allow me to know you are reading. I only share this information with close friends. I do not share this with facebook for a purpose: it is meant to be semi-private. Not "public" knowledge in the sense of the majority of those in real life knowing about it. If you can accept all that has been stated, sit back, grab a box of tissues, and be prepared to endure the rocky road of trying to conceive while trying to get out of the shadows of infertility.

13 Weeks bump update

13 weeks from BabyCenter.com

7w6d
11w4d
191.4 lbs

13w3d
191.6
I didn't suck in at all here. :-O
And no control top panty hose...
Feeling like in stage of not looking pregnant,
and instead feeling excruciatingly fat and bloated.

Baby: his/her head is now only one third of the size of the body. And is somewhere between the size of a shrimp, peach, or lemon...depending on the website and app you go by. Tiny little fingers now have finger prints, and all the organs forming are visible through the transparent skin.

What to pray for: The baby's voice. For the vocal cords, wind pipe, larynx, pharynx, and all other little organs associated with speech to form correctly. For our little one to speak only positive things, and avoid things such as gossip and abusive language. For our child to have a sweet singing voice for the Lord, and joy to spring from his or her lips.

Mommy: feeling much better lately when it comes to nausea! If I do not stay up on my water intake constipation/that bloated fat feeling comes on quite quickly. Fatigue is still hanging in, but I really feel I have done pretty well with not taking excessive naps this first trimester. Hard to believe that this is my last week in the first tri. Next week begins the second trimester and our next peek into the tiny world of our baby at our u/s on the 20th.

Maternity Clothes: I really don't have many half banded things, so I have been trying to avoid maternity clothes. But I did buy a cute dress for $8 at JCPenny, and love my clearance shorts I picked up from there when I was pregnant for the very first time. I think I may pick up another pair, even though they are $25 (I am feeling super cheap with clothes lately...). I am in the inbetween stage where maternity clothes aren't really necessary, but feel SO much better than having to squeeze into my other shorts.
