Little Bit About Me

My photo
First and foremost, I am a Christian woman: I love Jesus! In this blog you will find stories of trying to conceive with PCOS, MTHFR, Poor egg quality, a unicornuate uteterus, and too many babies in heaven. It is a good thing God is the ultimate healer! Here you will find praise! and you may also find venting (I'm not perfect...) and you will find other stories of my crazy life. All the while through this journey I am holding on to scripture & hoping to one day be a mother here on Earth (waiting on God & His perfect timing...why am I so impatient?) But in the meantime, here you will find me: Jessica, loving wife, hopeful heart of a mother, and faithful friend.

CAUTION

All writing in this blog is unedited and 100% from what I am feeling at the time. By continuing to read it means that you will take my vents with a grain of salt. You will choose to not take offense. And most of all, if you know me in real life you will either choose to stop reading or keep the knowledge of this blog quiet, and privately allow me to know you are reading. I only share this information with close friends. I do not share this with facebook for a purpose: it is meant to be semi-private. Not "public" knowledge in the sense of the majority of those in real life knowing about it. If you can accept all that has been stated, sit back, grab a box of tissues, and be prepared to endure the rocky road of trying to conceive while trying to get out of the shadows of infertility.

Good News!

Well even though we waited 45 min for ultrasound to start it was SO worth it!
The baby is measuring right on track at 14 weeks. Had a heartbeat of 160.

Here are a couple pics for your viewing pleasure....

And my cervix measured perfect at 4.9!
I asked about jogging and doctor said since I havent been walking to start there and at next appointment (July 5th, two weeks from today!!) if still good I will get the go ahead. I want to do another 5k!

Well I need to get motivated our house needs to be cleaned, car needs to be cleaned out, and a nap needs to be taken before work. Tomorrow is going to be another busy but fun day: car wash & vacuum, pack for Friday night and Saturday, get snacks and cooler around for water, and make biscuits and gravy before one when we will be meeting at Jenny's house to head into Lansing for the day. Nails and Pedis at 5, rehearsal at 7:30 followed by a delicious taco bar for dinner. And then games night for us girls (because as many of you know, no bride can really sleep the night before her wedding!!).

And last but not least, today we are announcing on facebook with this photo! Isn't Jack Jack so stinking cute!!

    1. I was up for 24 hours yesterday and phone was being silly and wouldn't save photos so I knew a post with photos wouldn't happen until today. Sorry to make you wait! :-) As of right now they plan on doing it all throughout the whole pregnancy, just to be on the safe side. They don't want to chance it. And I am thankful for more opportunities for more photos of our LO, for the assurance, and that they are willing to make me feel better about it. BUT I am still planning on and praying for God to make it stay long and strong up until delivery.
