Little Bit About Me

My photo
First and foremost, I am a Christian woman: I love Jesus! In this blog you will find stories of trying to conceive with PCOS, MTHFR, Poor egg quality, a unicornuate uteterus, and too many babies in heaven. It is a good thing God is the ultimate healer! Here you will find praise! and you may also find venting (I'm not perfect...) and you will find other stories of my crazy life. All the while through this journey I am holding on to scripture & hoping to one day be a mother here on Earth (waiting on God & His perfect timing...why am I so impatient?) But in the meantime, here you will find me: Jessica, loving wife, hopeful heart of a mother, and faithful friend.

CAUTION

All writing in this blog is unedited and 100% from what I am feeling at the time. By continuing to read it means that you will take my vents with a grain of salt. You will choose to not take offense. And most of all, if you know me in real life you will either choose to stop reading or keep the knowledge of this blog quiet, and privately allow me to know you are reading. I only share this information with close friends. I do not share this with facebook for a purpose: it is meant to be semi-private. Not "public" knowledge in the sense of the majority of those in real life knowing about it. If you can accept all that has been stated, sit back, grab a box of tissues, and be prepared to endure the rocky road of trying to conceive while trying to get out of the shadows of infertility.

And this is the Rest of The Story...

Ok I'm no Paul Harvey. But I do have to fill you in.

On my appointment.

We get there at 930. I worked last night, I am exhausted. Feeling nauseated when we learn...one of the u/s are out of order and they are running super behind. What should have been an in and out within an hour appointment, turned into an in and out at 1200 appointment. 2 and a half hours later we left the building.

Suspense building, I know! I know. :-)

So we finally got called back for intake with the nurse, out of order but fine with me because I would not have wanted to wait that additional time after the u/s. I was starving and pooped by the time we got back there!

3/4 of the way through the intake we got interrupted because it was my turn on u/s.

There were nervous butterflies, and a queasy I could spew any moment in my tummy.

Then I learned, they weren't going to use the dildo cam! They did a trans abdominal! She started looking towards middle and I informed her I had a unicornuate uterus, towards the right. As soon as she was over there we saw it: Our little raspberry :-)

The little baby measured 7 weeks 5 days, and the heartbeat was MAGICAL! 150bpm

She did not spend much time at all and was rushed. So I felt a little sad.

BUT the nurse did tell me if I wanted another u/s to schedule my next appt closer to the 11 week range and I would be more likely to get an u/s. :-) So that is what we did, May 31st is the next OB date. I am a little disappointed they are not doing more u/s due to my multiple losses, but they were all before this mark so they are believing this one is going to be A-OK.

So we get to tell our parents on mothers day. My little sister won't be there so I am thinking she is going to get a special gift. A onesie with the u/s photo that says something about worlds greatest aunt. She is going to giggle once she realizes what it is for.

My heart has overflowed with happiness. ♥
