I have been wondering about the reasons why my nails have only grown healthy and strong when pregnant or when on medicine to help me get pregnant. The only factor that I could think up that would vary between the two is my level of progesterone.
Higher/normal progesterone = goregeous nails (even when I choose to pick at them because they grow back QUICK!)
Low progesterone (my norm...) = stubs for nails.
I started to do research but have decided it would be nore productive if I cleaned my house, so if any of you feel compelled...you could solve this puzzle for me! ;-)
The reason that I am starting housework now, at 4:30 in the afternoon? Well, I went to bed at 1:30 this morning...and even though I woke up a for a half hour at 7:30 I didn't get out of bed until 11. Then we at breakfast...and I napped for another 3 hours. I was tired!
Despite being so tired, I have started expecting AF to show by the end of the week...typical pre-period type cramps right now. They are light, but definitely there. I know it's not over til the lady in red shows, but I can't help but prepare for the worst. I don't need a mental breakdown compared to hurricane Katrina at New Orleans...I WILL be prepared so the aftermath doesn't take longer than a few days to get over (haha, like that analogy?...oh boy, I think I had too much sleep) *Disclaimer: yes I know it was a tragedy. And I do feel for all of those people. But I also think the government there was stupid for not having more precautions set in place*
On other note...we slept through church this morning. So next week is the week for us to attend. We are going to be checking out a few churches over the next several months. If we can't find one we love, we might be driving 40 minutes to go to the one that I adore.
Have a wonderful rest of your Sunday! I will...until I have to work tonight.
Countdown Stats:
DPO: 9
Days til HPT: 5
Days til KCC gets a call: 8 (I have decided to give them until the first Monday in October before I make the call...)
