Day 17: Something you're looking forward to
When? Looking forward to when?
Tonight? Seeing my husband.
September? Getting off probation at work (which means more weekends together with James! More camping and little outings next summer. Oooh and a discounted membership at the gym!). AND hopefully a letter from KCC telling me, "You have been accepted into our nursing program."
December? Buying the dress for Jenny's wedding.
January? Starting the RN program.
Sometime this winter? Getting a puppy. A friend for Jack Jack.
June 2012? Hopefully to have the foster training complete. Oh and Jenny & Matt's wedding.
Amongst all of these, I think the obvious is warranted to mention. I hope to have a belly grow round with child. To see a healthy little baby at the end of the pregnancy. To start trying again after the nursing program for our second, but hopefully have a couple little ones via foster care that are coming up for adoption.
I hope to pass nursing school with flying colors! To find a job that I love.
I look forward to a perfect honeymoon one day with James. Family vacations. Taking his family on a vacation to the beach in a large house with many rooms. Visiting England to see the Harry Potter museum. Take a trip to Hawaii, Alaska, to step foot in all 50 states.
I look forward to the day that James can farm for a living. For being debt free. To have a savings that allows us to bless others like crazy! For our kids not to have to take out crazy loans for college like we did (unless they choose to go to an Ivy league school! I was tempted by Yale when they sent me information...until I saw the cost...)
To have kids. To be a mom and all those life journeys. To watch them play softball, baseball, soccer, basketball, play piano, whatever it is that God blesses them with the ability to do. I look forward to the future, but am trying to stay content in the present.
Often things strike my heart and want to come bursting forth. They come spilling out onto the page, or computer screen. With ink filling pages or my fingers flying across the keyboard, my mind going a million miles a minute, and my heart crying out to be heard. Here is where you’ll find those things, my little notes on life.
Little Bit About Me
- Jess
- First and foremost, I am a Christian woman: I love Jesus! In this blog you will find stories of trying to conceive with PCOS, MTHFR, Poor egg quality, a unicornuate uteterus, and too many babies in heaven. It is a good thing God is the ultimate healer! Here you will find praise! and you may also find venting (I'm not perfect...) and you will find other stories of my crazy life. All the while through this journey I am holding on to scripture & hoping to one day be a mother here on Earth (waiting on God & His perfect timing...why am I so impatient?) But in the meantime, here you will find me: Jessica, loving wife, hopeful heart of a mother, and faithful friend.
CAUTION
All writing in this blog is unedited and 100% from what I am feeling at the time. By continuing to read it means that you will take my vents with a grain of salt. You will choose to not take offense. And most of all, if you know me in real life you will either choose to stop reading or keep the knowledge of this blog quiet, and privately allow me to know you are reading. I only share this information with close friends. I do not share this with facebook for a purpose: it is meant to be semi-private. Not "public" knowledge in the sense of the majority of those in real life knowing about it. If you can accept all that has been stated, sit back, grab a box of tissues, and be prepared to endure the rocky road of trying to conceive while trying to get out of the shadows of infertility.
