Little Bit About Me

My photo
First and foremost, I am a Christian woman: I love Jesus! In this blog you will find stories of trying to conceive with PCOS, MTHFR, Poor egg quality, a unicornuate uteterus, and too many babies in heaven. It is a good thing God is the ultimate healer! Here you will find praise! and you may also find venting (I'm not perfect...) and you will find other stories of my crazy life. All the while through this journey I am holding on to scripture & hoping to one day be a mother here on Earth (waiting on God & His perfect timing...why am I so impatient?) But in the meantime, here you will find me: Jessica, loving wife, hopeful heart of a mother, and faithful friend.

CAUTION

All writing in this blog is unedited and 100% from what I am feeling at the time. By continuing to read it means that you will take my vents with a grain of salt. You will choose to not take offense. And most of all, if you know me in real life you will either choose to stop reading or keep the knowledge of this blog quiet, and privately allow me to know you are reading. I only share this information with close friends. I do not share this with facebook for a purpose: it is meant to be semi-private. Not "public" knowledge in the sense of the majority of those in real life knowing about it. If you can accept all that has been stated, sit back, grab a box of tissues, and be prepared to endure the rocky road of trying to conceive while trying to get out of the shadows of infertility.

Liebster Blog Award

Liebster is a German word which means "dearest" or "beloved". It is also used to refer to as someone's "favorite" and the idea of the Liebster Blog Award is to bring attention to blogs with less than 200 followers that deserve more recognition and encouragement.

I was blessed to be chosen by three lovely ladies My Journey to Conception by Lady Bug, My Journey Through TTC...so far... by Amy and Robert, and I think it is time by Crystal. These women have been a wonderful support and encouragement to me during my ttc journey.

There are certain rules that come with the Liebster Blog Award
1. Thank the giver and link back to the blogger who gave it to you.
2. Reveal your top five picks and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog.
3. Copy and paste the award on your blog.
4. Hope that the people you've sent the award to forward it on to their five favorite bloggers and keep it going!

First of all, I have to say I would have picked all three ladies listed above had they not chosen me first!

Lady Bug - I know you are on your beginning of your TTC journey, but knowing that you have endo and possible issues ttc...there is no better place to go to than friends for support. Be it in the blogger world or in real life. The fact that you are going to get good medical help for free is such a blessing! I hope you get your baby sooner rather than later.

Crystal - Pregnant with triplets! Whoohoo! I am so glad your FET stuck, you are going to be one busy momma in the future. You give me hope and are such an amazing support system. I will always be here for you, no matter what situation. My husband was amazed that a "stranger" would send me a birthday card and a gift. But you are more than a stranger, though we haven't met in life...you are a great friend!

Amy  - Here is to our ttc journey and one day experiencing the joys of a BFP and pregnancy together! And also, I feel you are correct we will keep in contact for a long time, even if you stop blogging...I have your email! haha! :-) I hope you and your husband get your BFP together soon!

So now onto my five picks!!

Beauty Will Rise by Mattie - I am not sure if I have commented on her blog at all to be honest, but I follow her story, and have cried so many times reading through her blog. They have endured so much, two precious babies have entered into heaven. God has blessed her with a little boy, and she is now on a mission to adoption!

Chasing Our Stork: From ART to Adoption by Baby Hopes - I have only commented a few times on this blog as well but truly think her story is amazing. She and her husband had been actively ttc for 5-6 years. They started pursuing adoption and fully did not expect to get pregnant by themselves. They hoped, but weren't too optimistic. But SURPRISE!! They are! I know she has already been awarded, but she truly deserves it!

Foster Care: Our Love Story by Teresa - She is an amazing Mommy to her foster care babies. She gives me a glimpse into the world that James and I will probably one day enter. She herself also had fertility issues but found joy in foster care!

Life's a Dance by Jill - I have to apologize to Jill I have been a slacker friend lately. We have talked since before May. I was in a horrible spot with bitterness when she got her BFP. She is now 20 weeks and I plan on being a better blogger friend! Jill herself has the cutest little girl, two angel babies, and a little boy on the way.

My Life, My Thoughts, My Journey by Ashley - She has been a good support system. Her and I both talk on a thread on www.countdowntomypregnancy.com. Ash recently got her very first BFP! After several horrific rounds on clomid, if all goes to plan she will be a mommy in August!

  1. Jess!!! I have to apologize too, I know you were having a hard time, I just didn't know what I could say or do to make it better. I just continued to pray for you and kept my distance. I'm so sorry.
Thanks for the award :) It's through you blog that I have found such a great support system of wonderful woman and I could never thank you enough for friending me and being there for me.
p.s. what do I do if I don't have any blogger friends that don't already have the award or they already have over 200 readers?
